our church

We believe God has made Himself known through His Son, Jesus Christ.

Jesus has made it possible for us to know God as Heavenly Father. He did this by dying on the Cross.

God proved the truth of all Jesus did by raising Him from death.

God’s Holy Spirit has been sent to guide us to this truth and help us live for Him, filling us with the life and love of God Himself.

 Healing Service

From time to time we have dedicated Healing Services. However we are prepared for prayers of healing at each of our services when the need arrises.

We follow the practice of Believers' Baptism, first seen in the New Testament, where people are baptised because they want to let people know they believe in Jesus Christ as their Saviour and Lord and want to follow Him in their lives.

Baptism is by full immersion, that is, the candidate goes fully under the water. This is symbolic of Jesus dying and being placed in the tomb. When the person comes back out of the water (they aren't held under too long!) they are declaring they want to live the new life in the same power that raised Jesus from the dead.

You are more than welcome to meet with us at one or all of our services.

On Sunday we meet for Worship at 6.30pm. When the need arises we will have a Baptismal Service. It is an opportunity for a candidate to profess their belief in Jesus as their Saviour and their desire to follow Him.

On occasions our women meet for coffee and chat at 11am. The dates are announced from the pulpit.

During the winter months, on a Thursday between 2-5pm, starting on 13th October 2022, we are open as a part of the Warm Welcome initiative.

Also in the past, before Covid, the men met for breakfast on a Saturday morning. We are looking at starting these up again.
